It is a difficult decision affecting the ease of installation and the overall look of the vehicle later on: selecting a suitable position for retrofit daytime running lights. But Osram has made things easy with its new LED Light@Day daytime running light kit. The installation instructions include printed templates, which are a great help when trying to position the lights accurately. Incidentally, if you copy them, you won’t need to cut up the originals.

Once you’ve picked the right position, another clever detail makes installation easier: the daytime running lights are not screwed in directly. Instead, a holder is used as a securing element. It is attached by means of two screws. After that, mounting the lights themselves is a snap – or maybe I mean “a click”. The lights are simply clicked into place. No need for any more screws or nuts.
